sweet any other details?, i finally proved the suspension on mine at the last autocross and have it fairly balanced, i can tell i have stiffened it up quite a bit by the fact that i can blow through the limited slip on hard fast turns and have never done that before, there was a couple spots where i was blowing up the inside tire pulling out of the turn in 2nd gear, guess the ol m30b35 is healthy but depending on how well the paxton blower project goes on the e30 i may add one to da shark too

the set up if it matters, 81 e12 based 633 with a e28 style rear suspension, the e12 front suspension with it's 4 pot brakes works fine with a couple tweaks, bilstein sports with unknown came on it when i got it drop springs and a modified 27mm e23 front sway bar (stock e24/e12 bar is 25mm) the e28 rear set up sports e32 750il trailing arms with their bearings instead of bushings at the subframe attaching points and vented rotors, bilstein sports with e34 525 springs with one 1/2 coil chopped on the bottom perch of the shocks (ass could drop about 3/4" but i don't feel like building camber mounts for the trailing arm mounts and any lower the camber gets bad) 18mm e28 rear sway bar on custom body mounts as the e12 runs the bar forward to the subframe and has no body mounts, a 3.73 posi diff with a old 533 center mount rear cover lines up with the e12 body mount, 16x8" msw's round things out

Fabulous sharks! They beat the Crocs, anytime.

I get that a lot, but the decals are not done yet.

Here is the actual Group A race car and you will understand.
I am trying to do a copy of the Group A 635csi race car, that is why I did the mono wiper conversion and the 4 piston calipers, I am now working on the transmission cooler.

Nice to see an e24 going back to the track. I just see to few of them at track days. Except for Erik Brannfors' in Washington, I don't who else tracks/races one. I've been tempted for so many years to build one, but I am more a lightweight type of driver. 1969 2002 racecar and 1989 e30 M3.

    Good work.
