MIght ask Tirerack. However, IMO, I would say no as I suspect the 20 inch wheels with tires would be of larger diameter than stock wheels and require the car to be raised for clearance, not to mention speedometer errors. Just an opinion.
I was just wondering if i could fit 20s on my 93 525i?
any response is apreciated.

As an opinion, I wouldn't go that big. 18s seem to be the best on these cars.

Would look tough...
I nearly went 20s on mine. Except they were $7000AUD!!!
20s will be too big and a pain in the arse. You'll be forever buckling them (Dont care how good you are at dodging potholes...I fitted 18s and I still managed to buckle them!!) Unless the E34 is a show-goer, and not daily driver of course.
Remember too that 20s will throw the balance of the car out, and believe it or not, the suspension "doesn't like" wheels bigger than 18s. It gets all weirded out...
My .02c worth??
Spend time finding the perfect set of 18s!!. I reckon the HM2 Hamann rims are ****-hot, and look damn sexy on an E34!! They command attention without making the E34 look too blinged-out. Remember, these cars are getting old, and brand-spanking styled rims look out-of-place with the 90's styling.
Gone but NEVER forgotten. :'(
And then...
Do they sell 40 inch wagon wheels? They say it'll make the car go faster. A little bumpy but well worth it. Chic's love wagon wheels. Next I'm looking at retrofitting a firehose to the trunk. Never know when a clown might be nearby.
thats a pretty sick 535,
i really want some 20 inch 100spoke rims like daytons.
i hope i can work it out.
It will look mad as on wires!!
But fu.k it'll cause drivability nightmares.
My suggestion would be go to the tyre shop and see if they'll order just ONE rim in for you to try the fit (remember too that E34s are a weird, unique offset, so they may not actually make them to fit the E34)...
Gone but NEVER forgotten. :'(
