M60 into E21

Title says it all! i am intersted in buying a e21 323i with a veiw to a m60 v8 conversion. im a 3rd year mechanic so doing the work is no problem, any comments tips or advice would be welcome

and the local regulations that your car is street legal.
In order to cut cost and also size wise I would install the straight 6 engine with the 3.5 Liter engine.
That has been done in Germany and there is a very nice information here with a lot of pics.
The M30B35 engine has been sold a lot = many engines are available = you save money. It is the working horse of BMW in many cars/models.
