ok when i push the brake pedal in my 540i (automatic) the engine stops running as well in addition to that when the engine cold , there is a sound in the tranny , help me plz ..what shall I do .

you are going have to provide more info than that...conditions, etc... just got the car???
this happen at all gears , n,d,123,etc & I ve replaced the tranny fluid before 1000 km ago ...& ive done the oil service .Originally Posted by Tiger

Probably improper fluid level... low... wrong fluid used? and wrong filter
