    Default vapor ...

It seems that the vapor in the morning from my exhaust lasts for an unusually long time...anyone else experience this?
    thanks

Default That's one of the most questioned phenomenas

that is the BMW ownership experience. Go to any BMW message board and type your question into their search and you'll see what I mean.

All (gasoline) BMWs spew a lot of vapor in cool weather. Only get worried if its NOT steam but white/blue/black smoke.

yeah - it freaked me out, too, the first time I saw it. The cat(s) gets a lot of condensation in it on a cold morning and it takes about 20 minutes to clear up. Until then, it always looks like you're blowing a head gasket .

It took Brett Anderson telling me that it was normal for me to believe it -- I'm paranoid about the head gasket on my car...heh.

    best, whit

this comes from the huge heavy duty exhaust on the bimmers taking a long time to come up to temp
all america wants is cold beer warm cat and a place to take a poop with a door on it
