Do any of you know of a website that states what modifications are legal in the state of CA?? Specifically, I am interested in the use of smoked lenses and their legality. I have tried a search in the past to no avail. Thanks in advance.

I just swapped out my amber side lights in front on my e30 with red ones from the rear. A definite no-no. We are just giving the police an excuse to pull us over so make sure you keep your nose clean (booze, drugs, warrants etc.) and you will get no more then a fix-it ticket.
