    Default Bill, have you noticed it is becoming ...

    very common to have looking good non working fuses? Concealed filament ruptures and corroded posts should make all of us consider a simple fuse check as a Sherlock Holmes labor.

    Will never again trust my simple approach: "If I see the fuse filament there, it's OK".

    Default I see it all the time on mercedes, less so on bmw and never on anything japanese or

    US made unless you go back to the 60's But yes, i see it more and more failed lightbulbs where the filament still looks fine..

    Considering my recent angina attack after working for two days to solve my problem you can bet I will take the time to check the bottom side posts of a fuse as a general rule. Would have saved me maybe a few of these gray hairs.
