    Default Retro fitting air con....

Has anyone here bought the aircon parts for an E34 and been brave enough to dismantle the dash etc and install it all? I know it wouldn't be a quick and easy job, but is it possible?

It is possible. As you are from England I would suggest you contact Rob Nicol or Martin from this company. They specialize in used parts and also new parts for mainly E32. As many parts are identical on E34 and E32, there might be a good chance that they have something for you.
Try this URL, the homepage is not yet finished cpmpletely, but there you can see the contact address.
Tell them you got their address from shogun in Japan.
