Thread: Yet another Wheel bearing question

Default Yet another Wheel bearing question

I'm fairly certain my right front bearing is going, based on the noises I get from the car. I wanted to make sure I get the proper replacement and was wondering how far I have to tear down the assembly to be sure I have the later bearing.

This may not even be an issue, since the car is a 1995 525i Touring. I'm assuming it would have the post 3/91 bearing, but is there a chance it might not?

    Default Pull the rotor.....

And you can easily identify which one you need.

My 94 530 has part# 31-22-1-139-345....the one with the thicker flange.
