    Default No Battery Warning Light

I've lost my battery warning light from my dash. i've removed the cluster and checked the bulb which is ok and to be sure swapped it with one of the known good working bulbs.

Having looked at another post i removed the Smaller black lead from the Alternator and grounded it. Still no light up on the dash.

    Can anybody help me further?

    Thanks in Advance

Default This picture should help you ....

note the inside the unloader relay diode, I think it's the weakest point in the circuit.

thanks Javier. so by changing the relay i should in theory maybe cure the fault?

do you know where this is located?

Default Look for K61 in the front fuse compartment ...

    this picture should help.

I wouldn't change the relay, right away, even more, I would check for the diode and replace it if necessary (unless the relay itself shows other damage).

A quick test for the lamp circuit would be to remove the relay and ground terminal 85 in the socket. Lamp should go on (Switch in run or start).

If the relay diode is gone, you should loose also some air conditioning functions, seat heaters and rear window defogger.
