    Default Great tires!

I have them on my chipped 525i....good grip in wet and dry and VERY quiet!
No problems at all with them....

I just bought a set of these for my 540i and I like them just fine. Good traction and quiet (at least for now).

I've got about 12k on mine and couldn't be happier with them for 3 season use. They aren't worth a damn in the snow so don't even think about it.

Default I had them on my 91 535...

They were quiet at first but after a while they got really really loud. Like driving on 4x4 tires on the highway. I don't think it changes the performance but it made me worry enough to replace them before they were all the way to the indicators.

Default Robin, I think the II's were meant to address that wear issue.

The original Db's wore that way for both me & Jeffro. I've got a couple thousand miles on the 17" Db II's & they seem better. Honestly, they don't seem too much quieter than the pirelli Pzero nero 16" tires on the winter wheels. The nero's aren't snow tires, but they are hella better than the yoko Db's under 50F. The 16" pirelli's provide a much better feel through the steering wheel as well. Of course, this perception may be in the 40F weather of a couple weekends ago, so it may not be such a difference in say, spring weather.

I've had mine for ~15k, very happy with them. Handling is solid, and virtually no road noise. I went to E38 wheels at the same time, and the tires I replaced were toast, so my impressions may be better than others
