who knows how it works, but the way your oem airbox is setup the water should fall to the bottom
so just run a tube to it...
best way to do it is to cut a hole in your hood and just have the filter sucking in air that way.

Hi there.
First off, Happy New Year to all, may it be a wonderful year.
I would like to know if it is possible to imitate the CSL induction for application on 525 94. Can one just fit sheilded tubing to the intake of the airbox and then lead this into the front bumper/grill alongside the headlights ?
Will this method take in too much water (as we have been having real downpours lately) and bend valves/damage the engine? How does that damn CSL induction work and is it difficult to mimic ?
Thanks in advance for the million q's
Victor

rofl, yes yes scannes and all. Very good. I had an idea of keeping the airbox and just extending the intake pipe into the front bumper where i would make a cut out aka CSL intake. What u think ?
just don't make it too low, you want to be safely above any standing water, i've done too many cars that sucked water and it's not pretty, you gotta watch the splash back too
