Mark- opinion of Shell V power 93?
My car seems to run very well on Shell Vpower 93 and your chip. It also runs very well on Chevron 93 octane. Of course the 95 525iTU has the knock sensors that should take advantge of the highest octane.
Just an observation

The M50 does not have knock sensors and should use 91 octane, the M50tu has knock sensors which will retard timing if knock is detected, but you will also have a reduced power output when timing is retarded. Depending on how you drive, you may not notice a difference. (if you don't accellerate hard)
