feeling the torque converter locking up after the 3rd to 4th shift
I know it is a 4 spd. auto and I like keeping it in 3rd for 40 to 60 mph but when I do slip it into "D" I feel it upshift twice. Is it an overdrive gear?

Ya i usually shift my 90 535 into ED around 60 mph and feel 2 shifts as well! Don't know why the converter isn't smoother like other cars but its fine with me![]()
And 4th is an overdrive gear, CL here stands for converter lockup...
