OK - trying the "threaded" view for a while
Saw this suggested by several folk in the discussion section on the new board format. Gonna give it whirl for a bit.
Does seem a little more "glance friendly" than the other views.

you get a view of the threads at the yop and a full albeit partly visible of all the replis below...linear doesnt show the thread and threaded shows the whole thread but only one reply at a time..
