maybe the voltage on your battery dropped below some level over night?
perhaps while cranking the engine for the first time this morning?
I dunno... talkin out of my ass here kinda, but check your battery voltage(s).
so this morning was the first cold one, around 12 last night and
20 today...
start up the car, a little rough idle, seat is ice, the usual =]
but when i turn the radio on it asks for code...
how weird is that?
anyone can back me up on this? i thought u had to disconnect the battery to throw a radio code...?

definetly a low battery situation, have that thing checked before you get stranded somewhere!

it thought that it was a low battery, but then
it cranked right up....almost instant turnover...
strange right? so then last night i used the obc
hack to monitor my voltage and it was always
above 13....so that's a healthy alternator....and
the battery is only a few years old...
today i entered the code, tuned into my fav
xmas station, and hit a bump, and it started
asking for a code again...now i'm thinking
faulty connection to the radio.... thanks
everyone for ideas
