    Looks like a traditional guardrail might have prevented that car from slowing as fast as it did. The thing never bleed off any energy !

    I agree, Derek. I'm amazed that open pillars such as the tunnel had are still permitted on heavily travelled roads. Of course, that's but one factor in the chain of events that lead up to the accident, but still worthy to think about! Interesting site, Mark...did you see the one of the guy in handcuffs, trying to break away from the arresting officers and snapping his neck at the C5/C6 joint? Idiot! *shakes head*
