Default Replacing Lights In Cluster - 1992 535ia

Back light for speedometer and fuel guage went
    out last night.

Anyone know the procedure for changing these
    bulbs.

I have a telescoping steering wheel. Is it necessary to drop
or remove steering wheel to remove cluster. Thanks.

Default Here's a link to it on the older cars, on yours the bulbs

will be slightly different.... And a number of people will tell you its easier to drop the column or with the telescoping wheel you don't have to remove the wheel... to put it quite simply , they don't know wtf they are talking about ... The easiest and best method is to remove the wheel since you have to disconnect the battery anyway and if you don't then its easy to scratch or damage the cluster when removing it... After the power has been off for five minutes it takes me about 5 minutes to remove the wheel and the cluster
    Link to remove cluster
