    Default Idle Air Control Hose

On my M50TU engine, the idle air control hose which is located under the intake manifold, i noticed it is not fitted real tight,i.e,the plastic connector with O ring it can let some of the air from inside the manifold to escape,is this normal, or it should be air tight not letting any air escape?if mine can move is it the O ring needs replacing....
    TIA

I can't say for sure, but mine's little loose, too. The o-ring is in good shape and I can feel some resistance when pushing the hose into the manifold. The retaining clip broke when I took it out, so it's now held in place with some ny-ties. The engine runs nicely at idle and higher, so I figure it's ok.
