Will it work with the OEM Alpine 5 headunit?
I have a 95 525ia and I am not sure if this changer will work with it?

Believe it will work
looks just like the Alipine changer that falled in my car after 8.5 years with the previous owner. I replaced it with a used BMW/Pioneer unit. Be careful, it is my understanding that only a few changers will work with the Alpine 5 radio head.
