Default Can water be used to clean the steering wheel?

I always have used acetone in my other cars to periodically clean the steering whell. This is one is leather, however. What can I use not to damage/dissolve it?

Default I use saddle soap ....

Cant remember where or even why i got it but i mix up a soapy solution and lather up every thing leather and then wipe it down.DO NOTuse any thing other than water if you dont have anything else.Brush off all the loose dirt n stuff first Keep the water clean and dont soak the leather so work small areas at a time.I also have some bmw Lederpflegemittel 81229400901There is also a leather pre cleaner 83129407907.Cant attest to the quality of either but it must be good ...right

For a REALLY interesting ride use silicone spray cockpit cleaner on the steering wheel, hand brake and pedals - NOT! This stuff is lethal - makes the afore mentioned components as slippy as ice.
