Hi, new to BMW post, getting my first bimmer today, 540i/a...not too many six speeds available for the price, 7500 USD but here is my question. Is there a special tranny fluid with an expensive price that my mechanic has told me about to warrent a 400 dollar tranny service? I think that I could be getting hosed , I haven't had him do it yet but it seems a little out of whack.
