Compression Test

guys, i read on this forum but can`t remember where,that anyone wants to do a compression test can do it himself like a DIY...if so what tools or equipment would i require to do it my self, in terms making a compression tool??

All you need is a compression gauge... about $20 at store. Hook up a remote starter switch... crank... and count three compressions and stop... that's the reading.
