Check engine light on....?

car runs a lil rough and the check engine light is on..cud it be the EAT chip? dang i hope not. anyone?

installed the chip 3rd week of April 04 but never had this problem beofre or after the chip only now. im waiting for word from my mechanic i hope its not somethin major.

mechanic said its the spark plugs... he also advised to observe the car this coming days for it might be also the oxygen sensor. how much does oxygen sensors go for? thanks guys

check the stomp codes,

no it never did before the EAt chip...more

you could always pop in the old chip and see if the problem goes away.
