    Default Cd changer problem(please read)

    hi to everyone

Did some research on the internet and here is what I came to .

The following link shows the chager which is located in my trunk.
    http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dllV...category=38753

As per ETK and what I saw in my trunk, i got a cd changer interface with three wires. One goes to head unit(13 pin), one goes to a to another box located on the right hand side of the trunk(13 pin) and another wire (14 pin round connector which goes to Cd changer.

I was thinking if I could bypass the cd changer interface and plug a cd changer directly in the head unit via the 13 pin cable(think alpine uses the 13 pin connector).

Or should I bus a conveter(14pin din cable to a M bus conncetor, then buy a CDX M30 changer or buy a Pioneer M-bus converter to IP bus(new pioneer bus) with a new generation cd changer????

    I really need help

Default Don't get rid of the amplifier

I can not help you in the selection of a new CD changer, but guess Pioneer should have some new generation units able to interface to the old 14 pin DIN connector, may be using an extra adapter. What I know is that you should not bypass anything there as the "another box located on the right hand side of the trunk" it is the amplifier and the radio itself. Head unit only contains Cassette player and control unit. Whatever you do, you should keep "connection" between head unit and right trunk box.

    Default Small box

It is the adapter to connect to the bus the 6 cd changer. Standard equipment with Bavarian seems to be the 10 CD changer (I believe it's a Sony or equivalent with a side CD magazine window in left front). Here is a picture of the Bavaria C professional RDS connections, per the picture, V1, V2 and V3 are 12 pin cables, though you said it is 13?? As the 6 CD changer does not have the two come in-come out socket connectors for this 12 wire V2 & V3 cables, they interfaced with the small box behind the CD Changer. Note that V1 and V2 are the same but different length. I had to resize the picture in order to fit, so it loosed quality. I can e-mail it if you want a neat one.

    check this link http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...tem=2459054303

This is the cd changer that can be connected to Bavaria Professional RDS without the cd changer interface but its extremely rare to get.
