Ok, I got the right tie rod off... now as I am trying to put the new one on the bolt comming out of the tie rod ball socket is freely spinning as I am trying to tighten the self locking nut.....
how do I tighten the self locking nut!?!?!?
Also, bma sent me two tie rods (as requested..) but they are identical (I ordered left and right rods)..... part numbers are identical as well.... it doesn't make any difference which one I use does it?
only 3 more hours of day light left.... hope I can get this done

I figured it out... I gotta press the rod into the hole which holds the rod into place....

it wasn't too bad.... but I could visually see the pass tire was turning out.. and driving verified a pull to the right..
so I got up under there and visually brought the tire back into alignment with the car...
I guess its off to the alignment shop tomorrow :-(
