Winfred told us how to kill it............i fergot tho. May be in the archives.
For a 5er there is a module somewhere under the dash, orange or w/ orange stripes.........i think.
Nice mod tho, if u haven’t experienced drivin one regularly, u are in for a treat.
The smaller diameter is just right.
    And them thumb ‘bulges’..................sweet.

    Oh yeah, baby!!!!

    Airbags are overrated anyways.
An exploding steering wheel...........what a brilliant idea.

Default Right Paul, there's a yellow srs box under & left of steering column.

I ended up pulling the box, & some other junk after installing my mtech2 wheel. You can't just pull the one light bulb in the instrument cluster, as it has a tiny backup bulb soldered to the board. At least, that spare cluster did.

If memory serves, someone just had an airbag blow on a harsh pothole, in an e34. Was that here? I've heard of a couple airbags going off in e24 6ers.

I personally don't love 10+ year old explosive junk a foot in front of me.

    Hey guys

Lovely wheels aren't they. This is the one I placed three red LEDs under the central boss badge which glow at night as you are driving. Matches the illuminated gear lever. Looks good!

Default do you guys experience any forward/back movement?

Right now ive been using an M-tec 1 wheel and it feels like im missing a spacer or something. I had a schnitzer/momo wheel before and that one wasnt right either blocked too much of the cluster. Anyone have a good lead on an M-tec 2? i know they are on ebay all the time, but i would like to find one locally (NY metro area)

Default I backspaced the capturing bolt with some big washers.

My mtech2 wheel blocks the upper part of tach & speedometer. I don't care too much; it is a much sportier wheel. For me, the stock wheel blocked alot of the instrument cluster too. My head kinda tilts sideways, out of the sunroof.
