Would like to know if there are any major differences in the 530iA and a 525i manual differentials? I was told the ratio is different 3.15 vs. 3.23 and that the input flange is different which can be swapped because spline is identical. Please verify...

good question, I'm pretty sure on the input. The output is questionable but they pop right out, not like the input thats needs to be tightened and loc-tited. You should be able to check the part numbers on the ETK and compare them.
