We had about 16 killed in this country last weekend. On the tele they showed a kids car which had slammed into a big rig that had just pulled out of a side street - not pretty.

These pics(plus a lot more of the same crash) were up on some other websites a while back. There was some debate as to whether it was faked or some sort of demonstration or something. But if its real, its pretty horrific to think what happened to the people inside.

I'm an Ambulance Paramedic in Western Australia, and you could say that sometimes my job is a sobering reminder of speed combined (usually)with inexperience and/or alcohol. Usually don't see too many BMW in a state like this !!

It isn't a BMW. It's a god damn crappy Ford Escort MK5.

And yes, I believe it's a demonstration of some sort. The authorities or someone trying to make people drive slower and take less chances on the road.
