    Default sound/fire proofing under the hood

    Is it a good idea to take down the fire/sound proofing material on the underside of the hood? It is getting pretty shabby and instead of getting a new one, I was just gunna take it off. yay or nay?

    it may be fine, or the engine heat may cook the paint, some deal with it better then others
    all america wants is cold beer warm cat and a place to take a poop with a door on it
