Default is this a clutch problem?

For the first few minutes after I start driving, the clutch feels like it is slipping, because the car is hesitating (feels like the car is being held back). The clutch pedal is also a lot higher than the brake pedal too, is there some way to adjust it or does the clutch just need to be repaired? Thanks

do you see the rpm's going up without a increase in speed? if so then the clutch is slipping, if not then theres a engine management issue. theres no clutch adjustment that i know of (but i haven't been under the dash of a 540im yet so i can't say for sure)
all america wants is cold beer warm cat and a place to take a poop with a door on it
