    Default Max Current Drain??

    Whats an acceptable current drain on standby for the car?

    ive got doors locked, alarm on and 1amp current drain.

    anyone know the factory value it would have been?

    generally around 25ma is normal, at that low level you can usually see the led flashing on the radio on the meter, 1 amp is huge

    1 amp! wow, could light christmas lights. You may have a problem in your alternator if everything else checks out.
