E34 manual seats do they have the plugs?

My 525i has manual seats in it. I remember reading that all E34s were pre-wired for electrical seats?

Can somone confirm this?

I have all sorts of hanging plugs under my mechanical and heated seats. How is that helpful without the electric brackets with the motors?

Last year I had a new leather interior installed by A-Trim in Watford, England. When they pulled the front seats to recover them I noticed a white connector and lead under the carpet - and my car has manual seats.
