I don't notice any. But I'm not sure I'm very sensitive to tire noise. The E30 325is has a generally much higher cockpit noise level than the E34.

Very sticky in the corners and smooth at high speed.
Find the optimum tire pressure and check it frequently.
Balance every 5000-7000 miles, at a good tire shop. Some lame balancers out there.
Don't want any E34 shimmy gremlin that turns out to be tires.

When I went to purchase a second set of tires I opted for the H-rated RE950s. Consideration was given to price, all-weather driving, and a fairly longer lasting tread life. I have to admit, the RE950s are very quiet, provide a smooth ride and have a nice fairly aggressive tread pattern. I am very pleased with them. The Bimmer is used as a daily driver, so all I needed was something that would be safe in all weather, priced well, drive smoothly without noise, and look asthetically pleasing. I am happy with the RE950s H-rated. I hope that helps!
