Default E32 750iL: early ones had 3.15; later ones had 3.64

I've got the 3.15 LSD in my car, and love it.

if you really want to bring it alive...for your automatic car...go with the 3.64 gear...would be perfect. A lot more grunt out of the hole and still reasonable cruise RPM on the highway. I run the 3.91 factory LSD in my automatic 735iL and love it... tachs 3K at 80mph and still gets good mileage. The slightly taller 3.64 gear will give you a proportionately lower RPM than my car at cruise and will be a vast improvement at launch compared to the very tall gear they put in your car from the factory.
    Good Luck

nope...nor will it affect your speedo calibration as the pulse sensor in the diff compensates for this...be sure to get the correct pulse sensor P/N that comes with the replacement diff.
