    LOL

    Very nice Jr

I like the idea of the virtual show, is it just based on exterior pics or do you provide a range of pics like say interior, exterior and engine bay. Or is it more of a car art type thing??

Our "Virtual Car Show" is based upon your single best picture you submit to the board. Some folks use photoshop to enhance their shots, and some have even created a web page that shows many different aspects in one "shot". Whatever you choose to submit is entirely up to you. The creative use of Photoshop can yield amazing results, or if you wish to use the ol' 35mm for that perfect shot. We give ample time for folks on the board to get out and practice their skills while unlocking their artistic talent.
The best part is seeing all the photos being posted on one day, show day, and admiring everyones work. Since we have members all over the world here, the show usually starts on Friday AM and runs until everyone has posted their picture. This usually takes 3 or 4 days depending upon what deadline is selected. Then the voting takes place and we all get to choose our favorite. There are different classes, as in, Best Photoshopped, Best Photography, Best this, best that, etc...etc....you get the picture? =)

With the new board format, I'm not quite sure how we will structure the show site, I'll have to get with ed and make sure we have permission to do this before we start our campaign. =) He's a good sport, and sponsors a heck of a car show!

It's certainly a lot of fun, competitive or not, the point is to get as many E34's as we can to the show. Someone might even learn how to post pictures on the web that didn't know how before, thanks to the many talented and helpful people here on Bimmerinfo.

Stay tuned for more information as "Virtual E34 Car Show 2004" gets rolling....

    Hi Jr and the lads,

If the weather is nice, I will be coming on Darth! You've all seen the GQ and, really, nothing has changed on the car except that I have a little rust just starting to come thru on the back rear corner of the rear Passenger door bottom. So it's going in to get this fixed at Westmont Body Werks (German car specialists!) plus my rear bumper is getting repainted and refinished where some idiot in (what looks like) an SUV or truck ran up and over the bumper! It happened in a parking lot and it only scratched the paint and black plastic trim and no structural damage at all. Good job the bastard wasn't still around........

See you Saturday, will be there around noon and will stay until around 3ish.....
