    Default metric mechanic trans/e28 clutch

Anyone have experince with metric mechanic transmissions? I'm thinking about buying the 5speed for my 90 535. Alternative is a rebuild at $2500 or used at $1000.00, the MM is $2000.00

Also, I want to replace the e34 clutch and dual mass flywheel with the e28 version. Any ideas on cost and/or things to be aware of.

    Thanks in advance!!

He did the trans in my car, was way under $2500 and did a great job. I also did the e28 conversion, nothing really to note. Make sure you find or get a good flywheel, do not have the e28 flywheel machined. I would also reccomend an e36 m3 shifter and a set of uuc delrin bushings. You also might want to replace the rear coupler on the shift linkage.
