    Default costco tires

A while back I had to purchase a pair of tires from costco, I have 17s with 235/45/17. However, when it came time to install them, they did not want to do it since it was not the OEM recomendation. Some costco's do everything by the book, others dont. Anyway, I need another set of tires, and in order to prevent this from happening again, I was wondering which, if any bmw (M5?) comes stock with 235/45/17 tires? They dont really inspect the model of the car when they do the installation anyway, plus I think this time around, I will take the wheels off the car and just bring them in alone. anybody? I appreciate the help
    thanks,
    geoff

Their computer tells them what acceptable "other" sizes can be installed.

    the 'E34 M5 had 17x8.5, or 235/45 17". tell them it's an M5 and you'll be fine.
