    Default How much time to replace M20 fan clutch???

    I assumed my thermostat was going bad or needed replacing anyway, so was going to have it done today. The shop called to say the thermostat was fine but the fan clutch was rooted. I've got a new one coming for NZD$255, but I want to know how much the labour is going to rip me, just to keep the shop honest...

    It took me about 1/2 an hour to replace the fan clutch on my m30 engine and it was my first one and I am not a mechanic. It was pretty easy. Next one might be about 15 minutes. Good luck.
