    Default Hyperactive temperature sensor?

    Hi all,
It has been awhile since I've been here. For me, the new format seems to be a bit harder to keep up with all the postings...and I've been quite busy otherwise. Also, my 535 has been purring right along great for 8 months...I'd better not say that too loud or else...

I have a problem with my external temperature sensor that feeds the OBC. Sometimes I will driving along then the OBC will act as though a cold air pocket appeared and the temp will drop from 80F to -35F and the gong will sound for the 'beware of ice on road' warning, then it will gradually work its way back up to the correct temp. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

The connector seems to be properly seated, so what else could it be?

    Thanks,
    DanH
