    Default Replace spark plug

    Hi All,

I am going to replace the spark plug for my e39. I bought NGK BKR6EK spark plug la. Can I follow similiar procedure from the BMWgroup DIY page on my e39? What else should I need to pay attention to? How about the torque? The installation instruction from NGK said that over-torqued spark plug is dangerous. Any advise.

    Thanks in advance

yes you can follow your manual, make sure that you do not remove them while the engine is hot as it will gall the threads in the head. as for torquing them in I dont know the torque values but your manual should tell you the proper way.
