    I always liked the way they looked on an E28 -- kind of like the M-Tech TRX wheels, but without having to use the dreaded TRX tires.

    I had them on my good old wonderslug for a while . . .

    I like them too. I think it is a car guy thing. Kind of remind me of the minimalist rally wheels with short center cap on old Chevy SS cars. Real car guys like 'em and don't necessarily jump on the Bling Bling bandwagon of big busy wheels with no sidewall. Kind of like an AC Cobra which looks funny with low profile tires. I considered getting them for my E-32...the 750iL when it came out with those was something to behold...quite a car. I believe the stock basketweaves are as good looking so I haven't switched.
