    Default M30 alternator, can 140A replace the 115?

    I can get the 140A cheaper than the 115A...

    Thanks

    yep, as long as you can swap the pulleys, otherwise you may need to find one to fit because sometimes they change

    Default Here's something I found a while back. m=>

    Here are some typical values for electrical draw:
    (1) Rear Window Defogger 25 amps
    (2) High Blower 20 amps
    (3) Headlamps (low) 15 amps
    (4) Windshield Wipers 6 amps
    (5) Ignition 6 amps
    (6) Brake Lights 5 amps
    Total 77 Amps

    This doesn't include amperage requirements for items like cell phones, laptops, CD players, additional lights... but even if these are included you should still be below 115 A. The main thing would be to have all systems off during starter engagement.
