My '95 525i stick has been my favorite 5-series ever over 50-years of BMW ownership. It is currently rusting away in my driveway. My E28 has less rust. It kind of caught me by surprise and I'm just not sure yet how or if to tackle it. Trunk is the worst. Doors next. Even completely fixed the car is worth less than the cost of a paint job.
you can get new ones from the dealer, 34311163464 brake reservoir grommet/plug, abt. $10, usage +E30,+E36,+E28,+E34,+E39,+E60,+E60 Facelift,+E61,+E61 Facelift,+F07,+F10,+F10 Facelift,+F11,+F18,+F18 Facelift,+E63,+E63 Facelift,+E64,+E64 Facelift,+F06,+F06 Facelift,+F12,+F12, Facelift,+F13,+F13 Facelift,+E32,+E38,+E65,+E66,+E67,+F01,+F01 Facelift,+F02,+F02 Facelift,+F03,+F03 Facelift,+F04,+E83,+E83 Facelift,+E53,+E70,+E70 Facelift,+F15,+F85,+E71,+F16,+F86,Z Series+E52,+Z3
You can simply google the part number, search results normally give back vendors selling the part. Get the number from the ETK, for example at REALOEM.COM.
Also MCMASTER.COM - remember about this site when you look for hardware. You can certainly get various gaskets there as well as other things, paying attention to needed specs. Price is cheap and deliveries are reliable.
