Hey guys, quick question.
Do you think my daughter, who is somewhat mechanically capable, can DIY a brakelight switch replacement on my E34 that she is driving?
Any tips to make the job easier?
Long live the E34.
1990 535i 5-sp., except for 16" M-Contours, cd deck, and clear corners, completely stock. 226k and running strong
If she's young and flexible its a piece of cake, if she's anywhere near my age not so easy anymore.
Thanks guys. Thanks for the DIY link Shogun.
Good to know you guys are still here in the rare occasions when I need advice.

There is an alternative repair on my website, see> Fixes - Brake calipers>>>E32 Brake Light Circuit Repair Interesting fix -- good photos http://twrite.org/shogunnew/topmenu.html
How to keep the contact of the Brake Light Switch clean of oxides. The extra current from the test lamp (about 0.3 Amps) cleans the contact. There is no need to replace the switch!
