    Default Selling my e34

Sorry to say this but I need to sell my 1990 535i 5 speed.
It's in West Michigan and is not currently registered.
It would take a couple weekends of work to change the front seal and put in the rest of the rear axle/brass guide pins and maybe the other diff or drive shaft to get it fully functional.
I have too many projects ahead of this one.
It was a HPDE car for the previous owner who took it to Gingerman and Road America occasionally.
It is lowered with H&R springs and Koni adjustables. The front has Kmac caster camber adjusters.
It comes with two sets of stock wheels and one set of Mille Miglia with one bent one.
It has a Racing Dynamics Strut Brace and sway bars, a big bore throttle body and a conforti chip and a cold air intake.
It has a really cool aluminum shifter knob that I made myself.
I swapped out the stock interior for a sport version from a 540 so it now has sport seats.
    The car has 421,000 miles.
It is a bit weathered and some of the bolt on body parts are starting to show a bit of rust.
    The price is $1200

So much for the theory that the odometers stop at 300K.

Whats up with the axle/brass guide thing?

One of the right rear caliper guide pins broke so I replaced the bushings as they showed wear and pins on that side (Bavauto) but didn't do the left side yet. When I replaced the axle as part of general maintenance considering the miles, the replacement didn't have the grease cover on the inboard side. I called the axle supplier and asked if I was supposed to re-use the original one and was told I didn't need t0. On further pondering, I feel that I'd probably pull the bolts and pop on the cover just because that's the way it was made originally. The left side axle hasn't been replaced yet but it's included.
