Yeah I dunno about the choices made in the resto.

While true that it was the original spec that attracted Elvis, it's just not 'Elvis' without the excess of the Lipstick Red paint or a Chevy V8 shoehorned into an engine bay it didn't want to fit into.

Nothing wrong with a brilliantly restored classic but I think this is now "A 507 that was once owned by Elvis", not so much "THE Elvis 507"
