Default Mark D'Silva EAT Chip - work with peake research obd 1 code reader?

trying to isloate why engine dies about every 3d day at a red light (different lights..)

stomp code didn't work... use the peake tool... it gave me the C8 code, which in the peak book says something like "DME control unit"

but I have an EAT chip replacing my stock 413 chip... can't find the original DME chip to swap back in.

It might be that the Peake believes that there is something wrong with the DME module because of the other chip, have read that before from other chips. To eliminate this possibility I would swop the original old chip in and then check with the Peake again.
