Had my '95 525i scAnned earlier to see what faults might come out. And i got this :
Does this mean that i have to automatically replace the ventilation valve? What are tell tale signs pointing to this problem? Would a strong smell of fuel when parked validate this fault?

As far as I can guess it is the PCV valve located on the intake manifold/area. Not sure of the 525 as I have no knowledge but from other engines they do periodically blow out or wear out.
