Hey guys, I have a 1995 525i with a autotragic trans that's starting to slip. Being out here in Hawaii it's near impossible to find a good clean e34. However I've come across a 530i 5speed with blown heads and the owner is asking $1500 obo. If I can use the trans, pedal assembly, and driveshaft I think it'll be a pretty good deal. My concerns are the V8's sit straight up so cross member maybe different and I'm not 100% sure the trans will bolt up to my M50. I also know the flywheel and clutch can't be used, right? Can someone guide me more clearly as to what I can, and can't use from the 530i. Thank you for all the help.

P.S. I did a search and found nothing 530i 525i interchangeable parts or trans swap related. Any other key word search suggestions?
